The last time a Bryan Cranston drama appeared on Netflix, it sparked a pop culture phenomenon. breaking Bad has gained a whole new fan base and has become a favorite program in recent seasons. Now another of its series is seeing increasing viewer numbers again: Your Honor.

The two-season series, which aired on Showtime from 2020 to 2022, was previously available to stream on Showtime for Paramount+ subscribers, but was released on Netflix in late May and has dominated the streaming charts ever since.

According to Variety, the series reached over 1.5 billion minutes on Netflix and Paramount+ from June 3 to June 9, making it the most streamed series of that period.

In the series, Cranston plays Michael Desiato, a New Orleans judge who, after a tragic accident involving the son of crime boss Jimmy Baxter (Michael Stuhlbarg), must throw his own ethical code overboard to protect his son, Adam (Hunter Doohan). The actor gave fans a big push to watch the series, writing on social media“You must watch it. We have a great cast and you will be on the edge of your sofa watching the story unfold.”
