Monday was a big day for the Michigan football team in recruiting after receiving commitments from two top-100 prospects.

The Wolverines secured 2025 four-star safety Ivan Taylor (who came from Notre Dame) from Winter Garden, Florida, to West Orange and four-star tight end Andrew Olesh from Central Valley, Pennsylvania, to Southern Lehigh. As the class continues to grow, several new recruits are working toward one of their next goals.

The next potential addition is likely wide receiver Phillip Wright III of Destrehan, Louisiana, who makes his announcement Saturday. One candidate who has no clear leader and an open schedule is five-star offensive lineman Andrew Babalola of Blue Valley Northwest of Overland Park, Kansas, who may be choosing between Michigan and Stanford.

And two commits from Michigan make their offer to Babalola on X (formerly Twitter).

These are the two players with the longest service time in the 2025 class: tight end Eli Owens and defensive lineman Bobby Kanka.

While these offers may not make much difference, it is encouraging to see that the program’s culture has permeated down to the unsigned recruiting class.
