Shekinah publishes 143-page love letter after Sarper’s sex confession

(Warning: The following contains HUGE spoilers for 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 6, Episode 2.)

In the July 8 episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other WayShekinah Garner returned to Turkey to be with Sarper Güven after their relationship hit major obstacles. Shekinah admitted that she and Sarper had some “really big fights” after three months apart.

“He tried to break up with me,” she revealed. “There are also two things from Sarper’s past that have been a constant thorn in our relationship: his sleazy black book of the women he’s slept with and his bottle collection.”

On the way to the airport, Shekinah revealed a sort of “black book” – but it’s not what you think. “My very first boyfriend, when I was 16, wrote me a 143-page letter,” Shekinah said.

She continued: “He went to the same boarding school as me and we were completely in love and we were forbidden to speak to each other. We weren’t even allowed to be in the same room because it was a very strict Christian school. So we wrote letters to each other and he wrote me a 143-page letter that I kept for many years because it really meant a lot to me and it was the longest letter I had ever heard.”

Shekinah explained that she brought the 143-page love letter to Turkey to give Sarper “a dose of his own medicine.” In a previous episode, Shekinah revealed that she learned that Sarper “slept with over 2,500 women. At the time, I thought that was a typo. I mean, 250 was still a lot to me, but I was willing to let that slide. But he actually replied that it was between 2,500 and 3,000.” (Yes, you read that right.)

Despite Sarper’s long history with women and her current problems, Shekinah isn’t ready to give up on their relationship. “Sarper is the man I chose,” Shekinah said on the July 8 episode. “I’m totally in love with him and I want to spend the rest of my life with him. But I don’t know how we can make a bigger commitment like marriage if he’s still holding on to his past. He needs to show me that he can be the man I need.”

The Season 6 couple didn’t get off to a great start when they arrived back in Turkey. When Shekinah entered Sarper’s apartment, she immediately noticed that the bottle cabinet was still there. These bottles represent Sarper’s previous trysts. “This really makes me mad,” Shekinah said. Sarper admitted that Shekinah was upset and hoped she would get used to the bottle cabinet.

“It’s not that I don’t like it. I literally hate it,” she explained.
