EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – This national holiday is for those who regularly take care of their skin.
On July 8th we celebrate National Love Your Skin Day.

National Love Your Skin Day is celebrated annually to encourage people to adopt a good skin care routine to enhance their natural beauty.
This is a day to celebrate and dedicate to your skin and remind us to make skin care a top priority.
I need to develop a much better skincare routine since this one consists of makeup wipes and moisturizer.
I admire all the people who implement a 30-minute to an hour makeup routine, as my schedule doesn’t really allow for that in the evenings.
But there’s more to skin care than that: facial cleanser, moisturizer, etc. It can also be as simple as using sunscreen to keep skin healthy and glowing.
In fact, the first consumer-friendly sunscreen was used on soldiers in 1944 to help them in World War II, marking the beginning of sunscreen skin care.
For more information on sunscreen, see Sun Protection: A Brief Walk Through History – PMC (nih.gov).
No matter what your skincare routine looks like, remember: it’s not always about buying the most expensive skincare products available.
It starts with paying attention to your diet and drinking enough fluids.
Remember: To get glowing skin it is important to drink plenty of water.
