Earvin “Magic” Johnson’s summer yachting adventure continues!

Magic, 64, and his wife Earlitha “Cookie” Johnson, 65, have shared several updates on their annual Mediterranean vacation via Instagram, many of them with their friends and travel companions LaTanya and Samuel L. Jackson, John and Vicki Palmer, and Cedric the Entertainer and Lorna Wells.

On Saturday, July 6, the NBA legend shared an Instagram post of himself posing from a boat in front of a beautiful sunset in Spain. “Check out the amazing sunrise I got to enjoy this morning at 6am before my workout in Spain,” he wrote in the caption.

In the photo, which shows him leaning against a sofa on the deck of the yacht, Magic wore casual attire. He opted for a grey and blue Los Angeles baseball T-shirt with matching blue pants.

On the same day, he published a joint post with his wife of over 30 years, showing the group’s visit to the Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma in Mallorca, Spain.

“Today we had a fantastic day with our friends in Palma de Mallorca, Spain! We visited one of the largest Mediterranean Gothic churches in Spain, which took over 400 years to build,” said the Believe in magic The author wrote in the caption.

Cookie also praised the church for its “beautiful” stained glass windows. “If you’re in Spain, I definitely recommend a visit. We were all impressed,” Cookie added.

In a post on Friday, July 5, the athlete shared insights into how he spent Independence Day traveling. “A great day celebrating Independence Day with our friends overseas,” he wrote in a caption.

In the first photo of the post, the Johnsons smiled as they posed with the Palmers and Jacksons, all dressed for the holiday. The interior of the boat was decorated with red, white and blue balloons, as well as other themed decorations.

The crew joined in the celebration, as Magic posted a video of them dancing with American flags while the group of friends cheered. The festivities also included a donut wall with themed desserts.

That same day, Magic shared a video of himself having a “magical start” to his morning by “taking off” on a jet ski. At the beginning of the clip, he raises his hand to wave at the camera.

The group embarked on their summer vacation on July 1, and the basketball player announced the trip via an Instagram post with the caption, “We are officially on vacation!! 😁 Hanging out with our amazing friends John and Vicki Palmer and Sam and LaTanya Jackson at Boca Grande in Barcelona, ​​Spain! The next day, Magic shared videos of her view of the Spanish island of Ibiza from the yacht on her Instagram stories.

During their visit to this Mediterranean destination, the group dressed up to dine at the farm-to-table restaurant Can Palau De Dalt in the Casa Maca Hotel.

In the same post, Magic shared a photo of the six standing on a staircase of the boat, looking out onto the large driveway.

Last year, the Johnsons spent their luxurious six-week holiday on the same yacht – the superyacht Phoenix 2. They began their journey in Antibes, France, before circumnavigating the Mediterranean, stopping in Portofino, Capriccioli, Capri, Positano, Nerano and Sicily in Italy; the Corinth Canal, Mykonos, Oia, Kefalonia, Kalami and Santorini in Greece; Montenegro and Dubrovnik, Croatia.

According to the website, charter prices for the luxury yacht start at 1,200,000 euros per week, or about 1,299,770 dollars.

The price of the seven-cabin superyacht, which can accommodate up to 12 guests, includes a crew of 29. The master cabin is a split-level apartment with its own staircase. The suite offers panoramic sea views and a private terrace with a jacuzzi. The remaining cabins are connected by a central elevator across three decks of the ship.
