If 2024 wasn’t the year of Shaboozey, it was certainly the year of his viral hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy).”

Within a very short time, the rousing anthem catapulted country’s newest sensation to the top of numerous cross-genre charts around the globe, the most recent of which is perhaps the biggest of all: the Billboard Hot 100.

The song’s recent placement at the top of the mainstream charts marks the star’s first-ever chart position and joins a long list of firsts he has achieved this year alone.

With the now two-times platinum-certified single, the artist has amassed hundreds of millions of streams since its release last April. Following its release, “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” quickly made history after it secured Shaboozey his first No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs.

The hit jumped from number 6 on the charts, knocking Beyoncé’s “TEXAS HOLD EM” off the top spot, marking the first time two black artists had back-to-back hits at the top of the chart.

He will soon be taking the popular song and many more of his soon-to-be-classic songs on tour on his first headlining tour.

The Multi-City Where I was is not where I am going The tour, which takes its name from the artist’s recently released third studio album, will kick off in early fall. Kicking off in Minneapolis, Minnesota in September, the month-long tour will see the hitmaker play some of his biggest venues to date in North American cities such as Chicago, Toronto, Boston, New York, Atlanta, Nashville and more.

“Let’s sell everything out and add more dates,” the artist said when announcing the tour. “I want to meet and see each and every one of you!”
