Legendary singer Usha Uthup’s husband Jani Chacko Uthup has died

The husband of Indian pop icon Usha Uthup, Jani Chacko Uthup, died in Calcutta on Monday, according to his family.
Jani, 78, reportedly felt unwell while watching TV at home. He was taken to a nearby hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival. The cause of death was severe cardiac arrest.
Jani Chacko Uthup, Usha Uthup’s second husband, was involved in the tea plantation sector. The couple met in the famous Trincas in the early 1970s.
Besides Usha, he left behind a son and a daughter.
