Stills from “AGATHA ALL ALONG” released along with first story details for the Marvel TV series

Today Disney+ released a new trailer and poster for the upcoming WandaVision Spin-off/successor, Agatha – All the time (You can check it out here if you missed it).

Now we have a handful of stills from a series that, according to a press release from Marvel Studios, follows Agatha Harkness “as she embarks on a dangerous, mysterious adventure full of ups and downs.” It was also confirmed that Jac Schaeffer, WandaVisionThe head writer of “The 40 Fingers” is directing the pilot episode.

“Pilot episode” is the official name in the above-mentioned press release, which suggests Agatha – All the time shot a pilot before receiving a full-season order. As far as we know, this is a first for an MCU television series.

We also have a table of contents for Agatha – All the time For more information on what to expect from the show:

“In ‘Agatha All Along,’ the infamous Agatha Harkness is left devastated and powerless after a suspicious goth teen helps her break free from a twisted spell. Her interest is piqued when he begs her to lead him down the legendary Witch’s Road, a magical challenge of trials that, if survived, rewards a witch with what she has been missing. Together, Agatha and this mysterious teen assemble a desperate coven and set off down the road…”

We also have some character names, including Rio Vidal (Aubrey Plaza), Lilia Calderu (Patti LuPone), Ali Ahn (Alice Wu-Gulliver), Jennifer Kale (Sasheer Zamata), Mrs. Hart/Sharon Davis (Debra Jo Rupp), and… Teen (Joe Locke).

Yes, it looks like Locke’s character is set to be referred to as a “teen” for now, suggesting that Marvel Studios wants to keep the fact that he’s playing Billy Maximoff/Wiccan, the son of the Scarlet Witch, a secret for now.

“What they have in common is that they are witches without a circle,” Schaeffer previously said of Agatha – All the time‘s leads. “Witches are characterized by deception, betrayal, villainy, and selfishness. What do you do when you have a group of witches who exhibit these traits and you need to make them work together?”

“(While) WandaVision played with the form of classic TV sitcoms, (here) we play a lot with the assumptions about witches,” She continued. “What is the visual shorthand for witches? We definitely didn’t want a one-dimensional, evil witch. There will be moments where we see Agatha’s true heart.”

Next to Kathryn Hahn Agatha – All the time Starring: Joe Locke, Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Paul Adelstein, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Okwui Okpokwasili, with Debra Jo Rupp, Patti LuPone and Aubrey Plaza. Executive producers are Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Mary Livanos and Jac Schaeffer.

The series’ directors include Jac Schaeffer, Rachel Goldberg and Gandja Montiero. Agatha – All the time Premiere on September 18th with the first two episodes, exclusively on Disney+.
