Lopez’s anniversary celebration for the song comes amid rumors that her relationship with Ben Affleck – whom she married in July 2022 – could fall apart again

Three years ago, Jennifer Lopez teamed up with Rauw Alejandro to release the Spanish-language single “Cambia El Paso.” The singer has since moved on from the relationship the album was reportedly written about, breaking off her engagement to Alex Rodriguez. She has also appeared in several films and released the three-part musical film/documentary/album. That’s me nowand married her long-time crush Ben Affleck. But now she’s back to the breakup song.

“Happy Anniversary Cambia El Paso…☀️🌴,” Lopez wrote on Instagram, where she shared a snippet from the song’s official music video. In the clip, she’s lounging on the beach and strutting down the street with the lightness of someone who just lifted a ton of weight off their shoulders. “Her life is better now without him/She knows her hips won’t let her down/She don’t need nobody to be healthy/She doesn’t fail,” Lopez sings on the record, according to a translation.

Lopez’s third anniversary celebration for the song comes amid rumors that her partnership with Affleck – who she married in 2022 after rekindling their relationship a year earlier – could be on the rocks again. Their official anniversary, from the date they received their marriage license, is next week, on July 17.
