Agent of the Barcelona outsider to take care of the future of the club, also target of a 22-year-old on the agenda

The summer transfer window promises to be hectic for Barcelona. The club will want to shed ballast and make the necessary reinforcements before next season.

Although many transfer deals are still in their early stages, the Catalan giants are actively negotiating with clubs and players across Europe.

And Girona is involved in many of their negotiations, as both sides have several common problems to resolve.

The agent of Pau Victor and Oriol Romeu has arrived at the club office

In fact, the agent representing Pau Victor and Oriol Romeu, Mágico Díaz, has arrived at the club’s offices to discuss possible transfer agreements and finalise negotiations, reports Jijantes FC.

Pau Victor, Barcelona Atletic’s top scorer last season, was on loan from Girona and now returns to his parent club.

However, with the transfer of Marc Guiu to Chelsea, Barcelona lacks sufficient options in the centre-forward position and the team is interested in re-signing Victor.

With Vitor Roque’s future uncertain and Robert Lewandowski not getting any younger, Barcelona intends to count on Pau Victor for the foreseeable future.

Therefore, discussions with his agent will likely focus on feasible options to secure his permanent stay in Barcelona.

The Oriol Romeu case

Meanwhile, Oriol Romeu is expected to quit club life due to his below-average season.

The experienced midfielder is attracting interest from Girona and could potentially sign a swap deal with Pau Victor.

Given that Romeu was a key figure for Girona before becoming Blaugranes and maintains the interest of her manager Michel, strengthens his hopes of returning home.

However, time will tell how an agreement will be reached, as he came for the measly sum of €3 million and is not expected to demand a high transfer fee again.

Girona reportedly only wants to sign him for free, which complicates things for Barcelona.
