Love Island bosses have signed Paul Pogba’s official double and the 6’5″ semi-professional footballer has lost his heart to Mimii Ngulube.

Joshua Oyinsan, 29, comes into the show like a bombshell after Mimii was left heartbroken over Ayo Odukoya’s betrayal at the Casa Amor reunion.

But Mimii’s luck could change after Joshua approaches her directly on Monday night’s show and she is intrigued by his advances.

The new signing had worked for years as a double for the former Manchester United player and represented the French world champion, who is currently serving a four-year doping ban, in the filming of commercials. The two became “good friends”.

But now Joshua is turning his attention away from football and towards his love life, hoping to find love in the ITV2 villa.

A TV source told MailOnline: “Joshua enters the villa and has the chance to date three islanders of his choosing.”

“He tells Mimii how difficult it was to see how disappointed and upset she felt about Ayo’s behavior at Casa Amor and hopes he can be the one to put a smile back on her face.

“It’s exactly what she needed to feel better after Ayo cheated on her and her confidence was low… but now she has the opportunity to start a new chapter in the villa.”

Joshua takes the stage with another male beauty king, former professional football player Reuben Collins, who is also hoping to make a splash.

They decide to go out with Uma Jammeh, Jessy Potts and Mimii, with the girls exclaiming, “Revenge is sweet.”

Eventually, the boys gain the power to decide who they want to team up with, putting a handful of islanders at risk of losing their place on the show.

Her appearance follows reports that a Love Island contestant dropped out after his partner dumped him.

Bosses were reportedly “stunned” after the cast member decided to follow the fired star and say goodbye to his co-stars in scenes that have yet to air.

It follows the double firing of Trey Norman and Ellie Jackson, who lost their place in the series during the dramatic conclusion of Movie Night on the Sunday night show.

During movie night, Uma was devastated to discover the true extent of her partner Wil Anderson’s misdeeds.

He refused to apologise to the model and reacted defensively when scenes were aired in the villa showing him flirting and passionately kissing Casa Amor contestant Lucy Graybill.

Joey Essex eventually got into a heated argument with his former flame Grace Jackson, who accused him of not being transparent during her first appearance on the show.

The former TOWIE star told Grace to “shut up” during the explosive scenes in which she witnessed him kiss Jessy Potts for the first time on the terrace.
