Russia has hit a children’s hospital in a devastating missile attack; the attack was described as “genocide”.

A shocking photo shows a child with a bloody face. There are fears that more children were buried under the rubble of the collapsed hospital in Kiev, the Ukrainian capital. At least seven people were killed in Kiev, many were seriously injured.

Other cities – notably Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Sloviansk and Krematorsk – were also brutally attacked by the forces of dictator Vladimir Putin, with civilians also being killed. In Kryvyi Rih, the birthplace of President Volodymyr Zelensky, ten people were killed and 31 injured.

The president had left for a visit to Poland. “More than 40 rockets of various types,” he said. “Residential buildings, infrastructure and a children’s hospital were damaged.”

Zelensky’s chief of staff Andriy Yermak posted: “An attack on Ukraine at a time when most people are on the streets. Crazy Russian terrorists. They attacked the cities where there were many people. They hit the children’s hospital. There are children there. It is a terror that the world must see and respond to. This is genocide.”

One target was apparently an unfinished business center near the Lukyanovskaya metro station in central Kiev. In Krematorsk, Russian forces attacked an engineering factory, above which a column of smoke rose.
