The musician used his social media to challenge the mother of his child Sophia Momodu He recently sharply criticized her for allegedly referring to the death of his young son in a case about joint custody of their nine-year-old daughter.

You constantly mention the death of my child whenever you can to remind us of this tragedy that haunts us every day of our lives. Imade will grow up and realize that I fought for her. For now, you can have her. PS: She won’t stay a child forever. Have fun. I made Aurora Adeleke! Your father loves you!”

He added:

“I only asked for joint custody but because it’s Davido y’all act like you can’t read! SMH I’m out of here… be blessed and I pray this never happens to you.”

In a follow-up post, the singer of “Dami Duroz” shared the message of another user who suggested the mother of his child. Sophia Momodu, 37, fought against his request for joint custody. The post read:

“There are a lot of illiterate people on this app, so let me explain. Joint custody – Both parents have access to the child. Sole custody – Only a single parent has access to the child. Davido asked for joint custody, so tell me what’s wrong with that.”

Reports on the matter claim that David And Sophia Momodu have been in court recently about custody of the 9-year-old I made. Last month, the Afrobeats artist reportedly filed a petition with the court for joint custody of the child, but was apparently denied, judging by his recent posts.
