When Florida safety Ivan Taylor committed to the Notre Dame football team last December, it seemed like he was sticking to his verbal commitment.
Well, now that we’re back, that may not be entirely the case. The 6-foot-3, 175-pound player officially visited Alabama and Michigan in June, as well as South Bend once.
Only one of those visits was able to turn Taylor away from the Irish, unfortunately the one to Ann Arbor. On Sunday, the nation’s 50th-best prospect according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings was predicted by Tom Loy and Sam Webb to join the Wolverines.
To make matters worse, it wasn’t just the insiders at 247Sports who believed this, but also Steve Wiltfong of On3 who believed it as well.

Taylor ranks 59th NATL. (7th SAF) in the Class of 2025.

That would be a huge blow to the Irish, as Taylor is the top-ranked recruit in the 2025 class. Hopefully the insiders are wrong, but the potential for the move is increasing.
