cheetah can stand as Wonder Woman most iconic villain, but despite her notoriety, she has never truly defeated the Amazon princess. In fact, none of Diana Prince’s opponents can claim to be her equal. But a new villain is on the horizon, promising a long-awaited “battle to the death.” Fans are wondering: will Wonder Woman prevail like she has against all the others, or will this new opponent finally prove to be her equal?

The combination of Amazo technology, Batman’s intelligence and Waller’s ambitions makes the AMAZO-N an exceptionally fearsome opponent.

Mark Waid and Dan Mora’s summer event will take place on September 4, 2024. Absolute powerwill be in full swing with the release of Absolute power #3. The issue’s synopsis interestingly suggests that the DCU heroes seek refuge in Wonder Woman’s hometown of Themyscira, which is known for its distrust of strangers, especially men.

The AMAZO-N is one of the powerful Amazo robots in Amanda Waller’s new Task Force VII, which is modeled after Wonder Woman and was specially developed to take on the Amazon warrior. Like the other Amazos The AMAZO-N is inhabited by the personality of one of the Zur-En-Arrh Batmen from across the multiverse and is currently under Waller’s control.l. The combination of Amazo technology, Batman’s intelligence, and Waller’s ambitions makes this an exceptionally fearsome opponent who has every chance of defeating Wonder Woman.


The alternate cover by Mike Deodato Jr. and João Canola offers a glimpse into the upcoming battle between Wonder Woman and AMAZO-N, which fans will be eagerly awaiting. Absolute power. Although the art is exceptionally impressive, it shows Diana on the defensive rather than the offensive. In fact Wonder Woman is nearly pushed into a backwards arc as she defends herself against AMAZO-N’s attack. The outcome of this fight does not seem to be in Diana’s favor, but her fight makes this new development exciting as it draws attention to a villain who could well be a match for Wonder Woman’s power.

Among Diana’s villains, Barbara is the closest to Wonder Woman in terms of power and fighting prowess. With the rekindling of the friendship and possible romance between Wonder Woman and Cheetah, the Amazon princess has never needed a worthy opponent more. Therefore, the introduction of the AMAZO-N not only contributes to the overarching narrative of Absolute power but also fills a gap in Wonder Woman Action.
