Publisher Idea Factory International announced the RPG, Death end regarding quest code Zwill be released in 2025 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in America and Europe.

What is the Death End re;Quest Series?

A thrilling RPG in which a group of young people traverse a bug-infested world, facing death threats at every turn as they confront secrets and dangers. It is packed with desperate Death Ends, written by Makoto Kedouin, the acclaimed author of Corpse party.

The first installment of the Death End re;Quest Series released on PlayStation 4 in 2018 (Japan) and 2019 (North America and Europe), and its sequel, Death End re;Quest 2was released in 2020 on PlayStation 4 (Japan, North America, and Europe).

With character designer Kei Nanameda and screenwriter Makoto Kedouin – Corpse party—back for the third part of the Death End re;Quest Series in which a new protagonist, Sayaka Hiwatari, enters a story of parallel universes in which she cannot recognize who is friend or foe.

Story

Immerse yourself in a story of parallel universes…

Iris was born in the world DE-1, a world that mirrors Earth in the 2000s. Her birth set in motion a series of tragic loops that were gradually unraveled through the efforts of Arata Mizunashi and his team.

After her goodwill was restored, Iris created a copy of World DE-1 called World DE-1.5. Here, feuds gave way to friendship, and everyone was a perfect cog in a perfect world. But a new crisis threatens peace…

A mysterious man has entered the fray, leading a group of people who look just like the world’s previous heroes. Our new hero, Sayaka Hiwatari, faces the growing chaos in which friend and foe can no longer be distinguished.

And so the battle with another world enters a new phase…
