Travis Kelce was so emotional during Taylor’s show in Amsterdam

As Taylor Swift wrapped up her final performance of the Amsterdam Eras tour on July 6, she gave Travis Kelce her sweetest greeting yet. During the “Fortnight” singer’s three-hour performance, she appeared to dedicate a very special mashup to her boyfriend – and the Kansas City Chiefs star couldn’t have been more touched. Kelce became visibly emotional several times during the performance, even prompting Brittany Mahomes to come over and check on him.

The athlete, who attended Swift’s Saturday show at the Johan Cruijff Arena with teammate Patrick Mahomes and his wife, appeared to tear up as the “Cruel Summer” star performed a mashup of “Mary’s Song,” “So High School” and “Everything Has Changed.” In a video shared by @TayvisHaze on X (formerly Twitter), Kelce stood in the VIP area to film Swift onstage like the ultimate proud boyfriend. As she sang the lyrics, “‘Cause all I know is that we said hello and your eyes look like you’re coming home, all I know is a simple name and everything has changed,” he could be seen wiping his face and eyes, then clapping his hands above his head. When Brittany saw his reaction, she came over to hug him and chatted briefly with Kelce before watching the rest of the mashup next to him.

In addition to snippets of “So High School,” which is presumably about Swift’s tumultuous relationship with Kelce, the “Karma” singer shared a sweet Easter egg by adding her 2006 single “Mary’s Song” into the mix. The tight end swayed to the music and clapped as Swift sang, “I’ll by 87, you’ll be 89, I’ll still look at you like the stars that shine” – a lyric that took on special meaning for Swifties, as the football star’s jersey number is 87 and both Swift and Kelce were born in 1989. Like the night before, the couple left the show hand in hand.

Taylor’s touching mashup dedication comes just hours after she mentioned him multiple times during her second Amsterdam Eras tour on July 5. She changed the lyrics of her song “Karma” to “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs” and even mimicked her boyfriend’s signature archery pose when he celebrates a touchdown. With Kelce set to head off to football practice for the Chiefs in a few weeks, Swifties will likely see even more sweet shout-outs and #couplegoals moments.
