Taylor Swift made her fans scream on Saturday, July 6, Epoch Tour concert because she played “Mary’s Song (Oh My My)” live for the first time since 2008.

On Saturday, 34-year-old Swift combined “Mary’s Song” with “So High School” and “Everything Has Changed.”

“Taylor Swift just walked on stage and sang ‘I love Travis Kelce‘ for five minutes,’ one social media user joked about X.

While Swift didn’t reveal why she chose to sing the medley, all three songs are about love, with both “Mary’s Song” and “So High School” featuring invisible strings encoded by Kelce. “Mary’s Song,” a track from her self-titled debut LP, includes the lyrics “I’ll be 87 (and) you’ll be 89,” which happens to be Kelce’s jersey number with the Kansas City Chiefs. “So High School” is from Swift’s latest record. The “Tortured Poets” sectionand has a “sentimental” meaning, according to Kelce.

Without saying much on stage, Swift once said that “Mary’s Song” was about “eternal” love.

“This is a song I wrote when I had just moved to Nashville and we had our neighbors over for dinner. It was this 60-year-old couple and they were just really sweet,” Swift previously said in a resurfaced 2006 interview with Billboard. “They acted like they were in high school and still had crushes on each other.”

Of course, “So High School” is also about Swift experiencing a similar feeling in her romance with Kelce and rediscovering her youth. During Swift’s now-memorial dinner, her neighbors detailed the origins of their love story.

“They … told us they were just little kids (when they met) and I just thought that was so sweet,” Swift added at the time. “You know, you go to the grocery store and you see all these tabloids where everyone is lying to each other, cheating, breaking up, and it kind of disheartens you for a while.”
