Insights into the life of Coronation Street newcomer Sydney Martin
SYDNEY Martin is best known to soap fans as Weatherfield’s newest star.
The actress recently made her debut as Betsy Swain, the young and spirited daughter of Detective Sergeant Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers).
In “Coronation Street” she plays a brave teenager who is already involved in an emotionally charged storyline.
Despite her youthful appearance on ITV, Sydney is actually 22 years old and has already completed her studies at drama school.
Since her debut, her social media following has grown rapidly and her fans love her content.
According to her profile, it is not uncommon for Sydney to post glamorous snaps for her growing fan base to see.
She has been photographed in a variety of glamorous looks while enjoying the sun abroad.

As he continued with his care plan, the new friendship came to the utter dismay of her best friend.
Betsy warned her friend about the shady lawyer and urged her to stay away from him because she recognized his shady side.
Later, viewers saw Betsy confront Joel and try to blackmail him.
The villain was given a warning as Betsy insisted that she had a “big mouth” and was not afraid to speak out and expose his crimes.
She later showed up at the bistro during his engagement party with Dee Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown), where he paid her and made her disappear from the area.
Famous friend
Away from the cobblestones, she seems to have a strong connection to another soap opera.
“Hollyoaks” star Isabelle Smith currently plays Frankie Osbourne in the Channel 4 drama series and is considered one of Sydney’s friends.
After graduating from drama school, Sydney posted numerous snapshots from her farewell party on her Instagram account.
Her soap colleague couldn’t resist posting in the comments: “So proud of you! I love you forever xxx.”

And Sydney has already given a little taste of what soap fans can expect in the near future.
The actress explained: “Betsy was raised by two detectives but seems to have a disdain for the law.
“She lost her other mother while she was in the service, so she has a certain disrespect for this profession. But when she gets in trouble, she says, ‘Mom, you can get me out of this.'”
Sydney added: “There’s this kind of playfulness… she’s a bit naive and thinks the law doesn’t apply to her.”
“She’s like my alter ego. She’s so confident and so spirited. I wish I had been that confident when I was her age.”
