She has a makeshift stall with a permanent location opposite Inorbit Mall Cyberabad, Hyderabad. Recently, Indian actor Sonu Sood visited the stall due to its popularity and had a chat with Sai Kumari Aunty.

The actor shared a video on Instagram showing his interaction with Sai Kumari Aunty. As he got out of his car, people surrounded him to take selfies and pictures. However, Sonu Sood went straight ahead to meet Kumari Aunty, who has been selling dal rice, fried rice, mutton curry, chicken curry and other vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes here for the past 13 years.

Speaking to Kumari Aunty, Sood said she is the embodiment of women’s empowerment and everyone can learn something from her. The woman wears a sari and opens her food stall at the same place every day from 12 noon to 2 pm.

Prices for meals at Kumari Aunty Food Stall

During the conversation, Sonu Sood enquired about the prices of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The businesswoman kindly replied that a vegetarian dish would cost Rs 80 while a non-vegetarian dish would cost Rs 120.

Sonu Sood mentioned that he prefers to eat vegetarian food. He jokingly asked her what discount she would offer him. Kumari Aunty said that he could get a free vegetarian meal from her stall. The actor said that he would come for the meal every day.

Payment Method at Kumari Aunty’s Food Stall

No matter what you eat, you can pay with cash or UPI at Kumari Aunty’s food stall. She ensures a hassle-free experience at her small eatery. The place is very popular with locals and influencers who come to her stall to enjoy the tasty food she prepares.

In January 2024, Patel, Inspector of Raidurgam Traffic Police, reported that 200 people were gathering around her stall every day. They parked around the stall, which caused traffic congestion in the area. Hence, the city police even ordered Sai Kumari Auntry to close her stall and shift the location to another place. But soon after, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy suspended this order and saved the food stall.
