Christina Applegate takes aim at the makers and participants of “Love Island”

Christina Applegate recently expressed her displeasure with the producers and participants of the popular reality show Love Island on X (formerly Twitter).

The Emmy Award winner shared her pet peeves about the show, particularly related to ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) triggers, and revealed her humorous disapproval of Peacocks Dating competition series.

“I love Love Island. Have watched every season. I have a problem with the production and the contestants,” she wrote.

“Can you please stop making weird noises with your water bottles? Like holding a straw in your mouth and chewing on it without sipping. Or girls with long fingernails making click-clack noises, ha.”

In a subsequent post, Applegate continued her “Love Island rant” and gave the islanders some blunt hygiene advice.

“White deodorant under the armpits is disgusting in the heat,” Dead to me added the actress.

“You are all very attractive people, please use clear deodorant!!! The white shit in the wrinkles is not good. I’m just helping you be the best version of yourself. Haha.”

Applegate’s followers quickly flocked to the comments section, nodding along to the actress’ words and pouring out their hate towards “Love Island ASMR.”
