Nicola Peltz Beckham takes legal action over the death of her dog

Nicola Peltz Beckham wants to take legal action against a dog groomer following the death of her Chihuahua Nala.
The 29-year-old actress was devastated following the sudden death of her beloved pooch and has reportedly hired a team of lawyers to investigate the dog’s fate, TMZ reports.
According to the outlet, Nala was examined by her longtime veterinarian in New York before the trip and was found to be fit and healthy.
Veterinary records indicate that the dog “had fluid in her lungs, an abnormal heartbeat and neurological problems before she died.”
Nicolas’ family had already used the dog grooming company once without any problems.
Nicola had previously shared her grief on Instagram, writing: “This has been the hardest month of my life. I can’t even find the words to describe my grief on so many levels. Nala was perfectly healthy when she went to the groomer yesterday but when she came out she was hyperventilating and couldn’t breathe. We rushed her to the vet and she died hours later. I’m sharing this in the hope that it can save other dogs from having the same experience. Her life was taken far too soon. She was my beautiful queen and stayed by my side through it all for 9 years. Please be careful who you send your dogs to because you don’t know what goes on behind closed doors. 1 day without Nala on earth feels like an eternity. I wish I could hold her in my arms again. I pray she is with my Naunni. I hope to see her soon.”
