Sudden death of ‘Love & Marriage: Huntsville’ star Keke Jabbar: More details emerge

A reportedly close friend of reality star Keke Jabbar, who appeared on the OWN series Love & Marriage: Huntsvillegives insight into the reasons for her death.

On July 1, reports emerged that Jabbar had died at the age of 42.

As Deadline reports, YouTuber JoAnn Jenkins, who frequently featured Jabbar on her live streams, said her death had nothing to do with drugs.

“Keke did not overdose, Keke did not take her own life,” Jenkins said on her YouTube stream. “Keke loved life. Keke was not ready to leave life. She was not ready to leave her children, her husband or her family.”

According to Jenkins, Jabaar often fell asleep randomly. She says Jabaar went out with a friend and came home around 4 a.m. and fell asleep in her car in the garage.

“Last night she turned her car off and fell asleep,” Jenkins said. “Her car wasn’t working (and there was) something wrong with her car before.” Jenkins noted that the official information came from Jabaar’s mother.

“So, this morning at seven, her husband goes into the garage. He sees Keke, who he thinks is sleeping in the car. He tries to get her attention. He opens (the car). She’s not breathing. Her husband, her partner, her best friend tried to get his wife, the mother of his children, back, and he couldn’t… Keke died of carbon monoxide poisoning. That’s all. That’s all,” Jenkins claimed. “My sister didn’t want to leave this earth, she didn’t want to leave her children. She didn’t want to leave her husband,” she continued. “There was no turmoil in her life. She had a lot of great things to look forward to.”

Jabbar’s co-stars have paid tribute to him and the family is asking for prayers and privacy.
