Kanye West unveils new video for “Famous”

It wouldn’t be a normal week in showbiz if Kanye West didn’t do something somewhat controversial.

So imagine our delight when he released his latest video for the controversial song “Famous” last night – which features a bevy of naked celebrities and politicians, including Caitlyn Jenner (!), Donald Trump (!!), Amber Rose (!!!) and Taylor Swift (!!!!)

OK, not all of them are real, but hey – some are!

It is the latest in a long line of headline-grabbing music videos from Yeezus and the first from his latest album, The Life of Pablo.

The video, available on Tidal, was shown last night at an exclusive event at The Forum in LA, where most of the Kardashian family was in attendance.

It is, of course, the song that was responsible for the recent controversy between Kim, himself and Taylor Swift.

The “1989” singer objected to Kanye calling her a “bitch” in the song – but Kanye and Kim both insisted that Tay-Tay knew about the lyrics and approved them.

Taylor is seen in the video through some sort of CGI, seemingly sleeping, naked in a bed full of celebrities.

Obviously this is some kind of artistic statement, but it’s Saturday and we didn’t understand it at all.

Apparently inspired by American painter Vincent Desiderio, Kanye told Vanity Fair: “It’s not for or against anyone (of the people in the video).”

“It’s a commentary on fame. We were very careful about taking pictures that had anything sexual in them to highlight them.”

The rapper also claimed that most of the people in the video are real and not lookalikes.

However, TMZ revealed that it was not the REAL Donald Trump lying naked in bed next to George W. Bush and, er, Ray J.
