Zenless Zone Zero, the upcoming action-adventure game from Genshin Impact developer HoYoverse, opens technical testing for PlayStation 5

It seems that HoYoverse, the developer of popular games like Genshin Influence And Honkai Star Trail is preparing for the console release of Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ) after registrations for the game’s technical test on PlayStation 5 were announced on Wednesday (April 10).

Zenless Zone Zero is an upcoming action-adventure game with rogue-lite elements. Players take on the role of the “Proxy” in New Eridu, the last bastion of urban civilization following unexplained disasters known as the “Hollows.”

The “deputy” guides other citizens of New Eridu as they navigate this dangerous environment.

The game had its first closed beta in 2022 and was previewed at both the Tokyo Games Show 2023 and HoYofest 2023.

The second closed beta in December 2023 highlighted a faction in Belobog Heavy Industries and showed us how ZZZ is HoYover’s unique take on combat-focused roguelites.

Then, in February 2024, HoYoverse confirmed ZZZ‘s PlayStation 5 release, followed by a third round of closed beta testing registrations in March 2024.

How do I sign up for the PS5 technical test?

Interested players can register for the technical test via the registration page from April 10 to 17. Registration closes at 3:00 p.m. Singapore time.

Here are the steps to follow:

1. Visit the Zenless Zone Zero PS5 technical test page.

2. Sign in to your HoYoverse account.

3. Complete and submit the test registration survey to complete your registration.

4. After the registration deadline has expired, HoYoverse will send notifications by email to all eligible participants (so-called proxies).

Before you register, make sure you meet all the requirements. Here are some tips:

• You will need about 40GB of free space on your console and a reliable internet connection.

• Eligible game testers must be at least 16 years old.

• The trial includes limited account access, no payment options, and deletion of data upon completion.

• Account trading and sharing is strictly prohibited. If you are caught trading or sharing, your trial account will be revoked.
