Christine Naomi “Chris” Pogue 1954–2024

Christine Naomi “Chris” Pogue, 70, of Mont Alto, formerly of Shady Grove, passed away on July 5, 2024 at Mercy House in Chambersburg.

She was born on March 18, 1954 in Waynesboro to the late Frank L. Webster, Sr. and Betty L. (Rudolph) Webster.

She attended Waynesboro High School until she was drafted into the Army during the Vietnam War. During her service, she worked part time as a dental assistant at Walter Reed Army Hospital.

Chris loved butterflies and animals. She enjoyed shopping and was a loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews.

Surviving are her partner, William C. Duke of Mont Alto, her stepmother, Marlene Webster of Chambersburg, a brother, Frank L. Webster Jr. (Beverly), Greencastle, and a sister, Susan Bilko (John), Waynesboro, and her nieces and nephews.

Three brothers had already died before her: William and Rodger Webster and Tim Baker.

The agreements are private and are Agett-Lakjer Funeral Home.
