Torvill and Dean are among the stars enjoying the action on day six of Wimbledon

Dancing On Ice judges Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean were among the many sporting stars who watched the action on the sixth day of Wimbledon.

The former British ice dancers, best known for winning a gold medal together at the 1984 Winter Olympics, both sat in the royal box at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club on Saturday.

Torvill, who waved to the crowd, wore a white blazer over a pink and white blouse, black trousers, boots and a handbag for the day out in south London.

Dean chose a classic navy suit, combined with a white shirt and a navy tie with red and white stripes.

Former Wimbledon BBC lead presenter Sue Barker, who made a surprise return to Wimbledon on Thursday to honour Sir Andy Murray, was spotted sitting in the stands on Saturday wearing a red blazer.

Michael and Hilary Whitehall, who appear in their son Jack Whitehall’s road trip comedy, were also photographed watching the tennis tournament.

Former talent agent Michael wore a cobalt blue suit with a white shirt and red patterned tie, while his wife Hilary wore a blue dress with a red floral print and a red blazer.

Olympic swimmer and “Strictly Come Dancing” star Adam Peaty also braved the wet weather and was present on Saturday along with Holly Ramsay, the daughter of TV chef Gordon Ramsay.

Peaty wore a dark suit with a light shirt and brown tie, while Ramsay wore a figure-hugging white midi dress and carried a brown handbag.

England soccer star Leah Williamson also looked chic in a grey suit combined with a white shirt and a black cube as she took part in the sixth day of the tournament.

Other sports stars in attendance included former Olympic cycling champion Sir Chris Hoy and his wife Sarra, as well as fellow British cyclists Dame Laura and Sir Jason Kenny.

English cricketer Ben Stokes also sat next to Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola, who sat in the royal box with his wife Cristina and daughter Maria.

Former Welsh rugby union player Sir Gareth Edwards, former Olympic gold medallist Jessica Ennis-Hill and former athletics champion Dame Denise Lewis were also spotted
