Kia Seltos HTK+ – Design

The HTK+ has all the design elements that make the Seltos such a good looking car. It has Kia’s tiger nose grille with LED daytime running lights. Does this variant have LED headlights? No, this variant has projector headlights. This is not necessarily a bad thing as these headlights provide good illumination. The rear is also identical to the other variants. It also has alloy wheels which further add to the external appeal of this car.

Interior design & equipment

The Kia Seltos has been praised for its premium looking interiors and the HTK+ variant is no different. It has a white and black interior design. The dashboard has a high gloss element with an 8.0-inch infotainment system in the centre. And the music system? It has an Arkamys sound system with four speakers and two tweeters. Highlights include an electric sunroof (iMT only), automatic light control, a rear camera and fully automatic air conditioning. And the safety features? It has safety features like disc brakes, HAC, ESC, brake assist, TPMS and four airbags.

Specifications

The HTK+ is available with all the engine options in the Seltos range. So it has a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine that produces 113 PS and 144 Nm of torque. There is also a powerful 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine that produces 138 PS and 242 Nm of torque. And what about a diesel engine? The Seltos has a 1.5-litre diesel engine that produces 113 PS and 250 Nm of torque. All engines are available with a variety of automatic transmission options.

Kia Seltos HTK+ – Price

The price of the Seltos starts at Rs 12.06 lakh and goes up to Rs 22.08 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). But what about the HTK+ variant? The price of the HTK+ variant starts at Rs 14.57 lakh and goes up to Rs 17.36 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

So should you buy it?

The Seltos HTK+ variant offers a lot in this price range. You get a lot of features and numerous engine options. However, the biggest drawback of the Seltos is its poor safety ratings in the GNCAP. Other than that, the Seltos HTK+ is a pretty good package.
