Taylor Swift’s new album, “Midnights,” is the longest-running number 1 song of her career

Taylor Swift’s The “Tortured Poets” section is once again at the top of the UK album charts this week. The set tops the list of the most consumed albums in the country and achieves another personal record with another No. 1 spot.

The “Tortured Poets” section is now Swift’s longest-running No. 1 album on the UK Albums Chart. With six weeks at the top of the list, it is now on par with one other project, and shares the honour of being her sets that have spent the most times at the top spot.

The singer’s new studio album has been on the UK’s most popular albums list for eight weeks now, and she has been at the top for all but two of those weeks, as few artists have been strong enough to knock her off her throne.

Dua Lipa was the first female artist to snatch the number one spot in the UK album charts from Swift. Her latest album Radical optimism brought her to number 1 in the nation, but only stayed for one frame. Billie Eilish also managed to spend a single week at number 1, replacing The “Tortured Poets” section for a short period of time.

In a few days, The “Tortured Poets” section could be Swift’s first album to spend seven weeks at No. 1. If it doesn’t reach that mark in the next chart phase, it could easily accomplish the feat soon, as the project continues to be incredibly popular in the UK.

The “Tortured Poets” section is one of 11 of Swift’s tracks to make the UK album chart. She holds more than 10% of the overall ranking this time around, as much of her catalog remains popular enough to chart. Two new recordings have been released during this period, bringing her total number of recent successes.
