Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce meet again in Amsterdam

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce meet again in Amsterdam

Travis Kelce keeps his promise, Taylor Swift as she travels the world for her Eras Tour. Just days after the Kansas City Chiefs tight end won the Super Bowl, he boarded a plane to Sydney, Australia, to join Swift at a show in February. Since then, he’s been splitting time between acting and performing in the U.S. and stadiums abroad, where he’s met and even performed with the royals. And on Friday, that meant a trip to Amsterdam, where Swift made the second of three appearances at the Johan Cruijff Arena.

Fans first suspected that Taylor Swift’s football partner might be at the stadium when social media users noticed her striking an archer pose similar to Kelce’s. Fans speculated that the move is one of Swift’s famous Easter eggs hinting at Kelce’s presence.

Kelce was reportedly in London on July 4 and allegedly played golf with his teammate Patrick Mahomesmade things seem less certain, but a few alert visitors spotted Kelce in the crowd and grabbed him for photos.

When Swift repeated her now-famous change to the lyrics of her song “Karma,” replacing “Karma is the guy on the screen coming right to my house” with “Karma is the guy from the Chiefs coming right to my house,” the secret was out. It was around this point that people in the stadium caught sight of Kelce’s unmistakable silhouette making his way toward the backstage area, briefly drawing attention away from Swift’s performance.

Footage posted by social media users shows Kelce, clad in shorts and a hoodie, reappearing arm-in-arm with Swift at the end of the show. This wasn’t a choreographed appearance like Kelce’s “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” cameo last month, but it seemed just as polished.

As the couple walked backstage, Kelce raised his arms in a sort of “aren’t you entertained?” call to cheers. Swift waved to the screaming crowd before the couple put their arms around each other and disappeared from view.
