From NBA champion to music producer

Chris Bosh, known for his success in basketball as a two-time NBA champion and Hall of Famer, has also made great strides in the music industry. After his NBA career ended prematurely in 2016 due to health reasons, Bosh discovered a new passion: creating beats.


Transition to music

Bosh’s musical journey began in 2017 with a notable placement on Gucci Mane’s track “Miss My Woe” featuring Rico Love. The collaboration came about through his friendship with Rico Love and resulted in a track on Gucci’s album Mr DavisThis experience sparked Bosh’s continued interest in music production.


Collaboration with Dreamville

In a significant move, Bosh participated in the creation of Dreamvilles Revenge of the Dreamers 3 album. At the invitation of J. Cole, Bosh attended the famous Rap Camp in Atlanta, where over 300 artists and producers came together to collaborate. During this event, Bosh worked with T-Minus, a long-time producer of Cole’s, and impressed everyone with his ability to create compelling beats.

Highlights of his stay included witnessing the development of J. Cole’s hit record “Middle Child,” which Bosh described as a meticulous and surgical process, emphasizing the dedication required to produce a hit record.


Life outside the court

Despite his busy life as a father of five, Bosh continues to dedicate time to his love of music. He remains driven by a desire to innovate and explore new musical landscapes, always trying to crack the code of the next big sound in music production.
