Also in the $10,000 first-year trotters category were LT Loverboy, Battle Hill and Twofiftychamp, who won his first race with the fastest time of 1:57.

Munster Mash Trick pulled the bag down behind but could not shake off the tenacious Rose Run ATM, who was called upon three times during the mile. But the gelding prevailed for Brady Brown, holding off his rival by a neck in 1:59.1. Bell Hall was third.

Friday’s card also included the second leg of a pop-up series for young trotting fillies, with Blueberry, Brink Street and Mocha Hill taking home the $10,000 split purse. Ronnie Wrenn, Jr. and trainer Rom Burke secured a pop-up one-two with Brink Street and Mocha Hill.

Blueberry (Father Patrick-Perfect Image) “prepared” for Friday’s race, finishing a respectable third in a $79,399 Pennsylvania Sires Stake division. The impact of the drop in class was clear to see, as Blueberry thwarted a late attempt by Tacky Sugar to defeat her by 1-1/2 lengths in 1:58.1 for Brian Zendt. Dianne Hanover completed the ticket.
