Street Fight Samoa Joe vs. Chris Jericho Stampede added to AEW Dynamite

A Stampede Street Fight between FTW Champion Chris Jericho and former AEW World Champion Samoa Joe has been added to AEW Dynamite this Wednesday in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

The two have been feuding for several weeks, involving Joe’s partners Katsuyori Shibata and Hook, as well as Jericho’s Learning Tree members Big Bill and Bryan Keith. The latter defeated Jericho, Bill and Jeff Cobb at Forbidden Door last Sunday.

At last Wednesday’s Dynamite, Jericho, Bill and Keith attacked and left Joe, Shibata and Hook lying on the ground after their trio defeated The Cage of Agony. Later, Jericho threw a fireball in Hook’s face after another attack.

The match is not about Jericho’s FTW title.

This will be their first singles match since the April 2017 edition of WWE Raw, where they competed one-on-one for only the second time.
