Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” was the “most exhausting” but “most rewarding” concert series in the singer’s life

Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” was the “most exhausting” but also “most rewarding” concert series in the singer’s life.
The 34-year-old “Bad Blood” singer made this emotional confession on Thursday evening (13.06.24) at the 100th show of her epic world tour in Liverpool – which she said was one of the windiest she had ever played.
During her three-hour-plus show, she told thousands of fans at Anfield: “This is actually the 100th show. It blows my mind – it doesn’t feel like a statistic to me… because this tour has truly been the most exhausting, most enveloping, but also most joyful, rewarding and wonderful thing that has ever happened to me in my life.”
Standing in a flowing red sequin dress, Taylor added that she had been so busy planning each and every performance on her “Eras Tour” that she had forgotten about her hobbies.
She added: “I think this tour has really become my whole life. It’s really taken over everything.
“I think I used to have hobbies, but I don’t remember what they were because when I’m not on stage I just sit at home and try to think of clever acoustic song mashups and remember to be here.
“When I’m not on this stage, I dream of being on stage with you again.”
Taylor also said she was struggling with the idea that her epic tour would end with the 100th show later this year.
She added: “I think, ‘How do you celebrate the 100th show?’ And for me, celebrating the 100th show is… this is the first time I can realize that this tour ends in December, and, like, ‘That’s it, and it feels so far away.'”
At least 150,000 ‘Swifties’ are said to have come to Liverpool for her three-day appearance in the city – many of them wearing Taylor-style outfits and sporting the fan merchandise sold around Anfield.
Taylor told her fans on Thursday: “They did so much to be with us. They made plans so far in advance.
“You planned what you would wear and you memorized the lyrics.
“They made it here and organized the transport.
“And I think about it and I am in this moment and here with you.
“And just know that I appreciate everything you’ve done to be with us when this tour hits triple digit show count – so thank you.”
After two more appearances at Anfield on Friday and Saturday, Taylor will move on to Wales where she will perform a show at the Principality Stadium on Tuesday (18.06.24).
