Bon Jovi’s new album brings one of their most famous singles back to the charts

Bon Jovi’s latest album Forever gives the band another quick win on the Billboard Charts this week. The set opens in the top 10 of several rankings and also seems to have reignited interest in the group’s catalog, as many fans likely streamed old favorites after pressing play or purchasing the rockers’ latest.

“Livin’ on a Prayer” is back at number 1 Billboard because it seems to be possible, after the warm welcome, the Forever The single – one of Bon Jovi’s most successful and memorable – reappears on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales charts, which track the country’s best-selling hard rock singles.

This time, “Livin’ on a Prayer” is at No. 7 on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart. It has reached the summit before, but the fact that it is a top 10 hit again decades after its release is another indication of the song’s inevitability.

Despite selling better than last week, “Livin’ on a Prayer” isn’t doing so well in terms of streaming. The single drops one notch on the latest edition of the Hard Rock Streaming Songs chart. In that count, the cut slips one spot, landing at number 12.

It’s likely that “Livin’ on a Prayer” would have remained at No. 11 on the Hard Rock Streaming Songs chart if it weren’t for an exciting new addition to the chart this week. Falling In Reverse and Jelly Roll debut at No. 1 on the list with their collaboration “All My Life.” Their impressive start pushes a number of hits up a spot or two, including Bon Jovi’s song.

This week, Forever opens at number 5 on the Billboard 200. This marks Bon Jovi’s first return to the top 10 of the highly regarded list of the country’s most consumed albums this decade. The title is also new at number 1 on rankings such as the Top Album Sales and Top Rock Albums lists.
