Sonakshi Sinha shares cryptic post on inclusivity and tolerance amid Luv Sinha row: ‘Shut up…’

Sonakshi Sinha today took to social media to talk about the importance of kindness and inclusivity. The actress posted a series of posts on her Instagram story stressing on how one should become a tolerant person. These posts came soon after Luv Sinha shared and then deleted a post on X about Sonakshi’s father-in-law Iqbal Ratansi.

The posts shared by Sonakshi read: “How to know when to keep your voice down or completely silent (on airplanes, in movie theaters). How to know when you’re not getting what you want. How to develop a deep interest in the environment. Live and let live, literally and figuratively.”

The post also said: “The absolute and utter importance of kindness and inclusivity in an increasingly insular world. Knowing that there can and do be opinions that contradict your own. And being a more tolerant young person.” The post was originally shared with the title “Things to teach in school.”

Sonakshi’s post comes a few days after Luv Sinha deleted his post on X about Zaheer Iqbal’s father, Iqbal Ratansi’s political connection and his “stay in Dubai”. Luv had shared an excerpt from the article which said, “In carefully curated news about his family’s business, no one enters grey areas like the groom’s father’s proximity to a politician whose requests to the emergency room had disappeared in the ‘washing machine’. There was also no mention of the groom’s father’s stay in Dubai…” This post has now been deleted from Luv’s X profile.

Luv shared this excerpt, adding, “The reasons why I didn’t attend are very clear and there’s no way I would meet with some people. I’m glad a media representative did their research instead of relying on the creative stories put out by a PR team.” This post is still visible on his profile.

Later, Luv mentioned on X that his post about Iqbal Ratansi was not his statement but an excerpt from a newspaper article. He wrote: “The quote falsely attributed to me is not my statement and was written in an article by a senior journalist. The matter is now closed and I will not comment further on it.”

After seven years of courtship, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal sealed their love with a wedding ceremony on June 23. The intimate registered marriage was followed by a lavish reception attended by numerous Bollywood personalities including Salman Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Kajol, Tabu, Huma Qureshi with her brother Saqib Saleem, Aditi Rao Hydari with her fiancé Siddharth and many others.
