Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin celebrate their daughter Apple’s graduation

Gwyneth Paltrow celebrated her daughter’s graduation.
The 49-year-old actress, who has been married to Coldplay star Chris Martin since 2003 and has children Apple, 18, and Moses, 16, with him, announced on social media that her eldest child had graduated from high school and sent her best wishes to all the graduates.
She wrote on Instagram: “Congratulations to all the graduates, especially @applemartin” (sic) and decorated the post with a graduation cap emoji, a purple heart emoji and a sticker that read “Class of 2022.”
In the attached photo, the Goop founder can be seen smiling next to her ex-husband, who is hugging his daughter on her big day.
Meanwhile, the “Shallow Hal” star, who married producer Brad Falchuk in 2018 while Chris has been dating actress Dakota Johnson since 2017, recently revealed that it was Chris who first suggested Apple’s name and that she “fell in love” with the unusual name.
She said: “Her father came up with the name and I fell in love with it. I thought it was original and cool. I can’t imagine her being called anything else.”
“I spend a lot of time with (my children), talking and watching them. I read this quote. I think it was attributed to the artist Banksy, who said something like, ‘This generation of parents will do anything for our children, anything.’
“We would do anything for our children except let them be who they really are. When I read that, I got goosebumps and thought, ‘God,’ there are parts of me that think, ‘You should do it this way because that’s what worked for me,’ or ‘Let’s avoid that.'”
