Marshall County Chamber of Commerce’s free summer concert series continues tonight | News, Sports, Jobs

The Marshall County Chamber of Commerce hosts a free summer concert series with concerts in Moundsville, McMechen, Glen Dale and Benwood.

The next performance is today from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with The Muddle, a band that plays various styles of music, at McMechen Riverfront Park.

Tammy Jo & Iron Horse are also scheduled to play at the Cameron Volunteer Fire Department today from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

On July 12, the variety band Usual Suspects will perform at Glen Dale Park from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

On July 26, country music artist Logan Wojcik will perform at Benwood City Park from 7-9 p.m. The final concert in the series will be on August 2 from 7-9 p.m. at Moundsville Riverfront Park with the 40+ Band playing oldies, classic rock and a cappella music.

“The Marshall County Chamber of Commerce has been hosting free summer concerts for over a decade,” said Scott Reager, executive director of the Marshall County Chamber of Commerce. “It first started at the Moundsville Riverfront and recently expanded to parks in Glen Dale, McMechen, Benwood, Cameron, Grand Vue Park and Moundsville Riverfront. These free concerts are sponsored by Moundsville Pharmacy, Marshall County Commission and Southwestern Energy and are for the whole family.”

The series started in May with the band Pocket Change.
