What is the best live action superhero costume?

Legendary’s MonsterVerse has delivered some truly exciting kaiju battles, especially in the recent films – Godzilla vs. Kong and Godzilla x Kong. However, the most exciting monster-on-monster battle in the franchise surprisingly comes from the lowest-reviewed film in the series – Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The climactic battle between Godzilla and Ghidorah is a stunning display of kaiju madness. What’s your favorite battle in the MonsterVerse?

There’s no doubt that Alien and its sequel Aliens are two of the best films of all time. What really sets them apart at their best is their unique blend of entertainment and profound exploration of humanity’s deepest questions. I believe this combination secures them a place among the most underrated film franchises currently underway. What is your favorite underrated film franchise?

I think that audiences have become so invested in the original Avengers characters that the only way to keep the franchise going is to bring some of them back somehow. And the easiest way to do that would be a reboot.

There are many professional wrestlers who have become actors. The most obvious one that springs to mind is Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Ironically, his feud with John Cena was about exactly that – him giving up wrestling to become a Hollywood actor. But Cena, despite some shaky previous work like The Marine, is actually a very strong, very credible actor. He has a lot of range, which is certainly more than I can say for The Rock, who tends to play the same character in every movie.

With Bad Boys Ride or Die and Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, the buddy cop genre is alive and well. One of my favorite films – and one of the highest-rated – in the genre came out in 2016. Written and directed by Shane Black, The Nice Guys is a hilarious action comedy with a mystery at its center that pays off in the end, even if its main draw is the film’s top-notch humor and its two leads (Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe). What’s your favorite buddy cop movie?
