This Taylor Swift lookalike gets stopped on the street. She’ll take the stage on Thursday night

Ceara Copat says hardly a week goes by without someone coming up to her on the street and telling her she looks like Taylor Swift.

“They annoy me because I love singing and I sing all the time,” she said on Windsor Morning.

“So they say, ‘Why don’t you just embrace this role? Everyone tells you you look like them, so why don’t you just do it and go with it?'”

Young Swifties may want to head to Essex tonight.

That’s exactly what she’ll do on Thursday with two performances at Essex Fun Fest, in a show called Forever Swift, with performances at 6pm and 7pm.

Copat said she was first booked by Sylvia Ward, who runs EA Parties, a local business that sends people dressed as princesses and superheroes to children’s birthday parties and other events.

“When I walk around, the children love me and ask me to dance or sing with them,” she said.

“But they love me when I’m walking around, even in normal day-to-day life. Most kids come up to me or look at me and wonder, ‘Is that her?’ A lot of people have asked me, ‘Are you sure?’ And I say, ‘Oh, seriously, I’m not that big, but I’m trying, I’m trying.'”

Copat says tonight’s performances will feature “the new Taylor and the old Taylor, simply because I want everyone in the audience to be happy.”

“The kids will absolutely love it”

Ward is confident that those who attend the performances will not be disappointed.

“It’s kind of a tribute sing-along concert. We’re going to invite the kids to dance and sing with us,” Ward said. “We’re going to get the audience as involved as possible.”
