The creator of “The Boys” calls his other series, which should be just as popular

Garth Ennis has long been one of the most influential creators of the modern comic book era and is best known for dark titles such as preacher, The young And Hellblazer. When asked about which of his books – apart from The young And preacher – Ennis wanted more attention, he explained:

Honestly, it would be the war stories, I think. Those are my favorite ones to write. Sara would be the leader of the pack, but also Johnny Red and the other Battle Action flicks, Out of the Blue, The Lion and the Eagle, my old war stories and Battlefields series from Avatar and Dynamite, Dreaming Eagles… Those are really the stories that mean the most to me.

Ennis’ foray into the war genre is by no means his best known work, but it stands out as one of his best works. Whether it is his battle Stories or AfterShock’s The Lion and the Eaglethese series are as entertaining as they are visually stunning. He continued:

However, the author later suggested that this wish was unlikely to come true, comparing it shortly afterwards to his wish to visit the International Space Station.
