Is Taylor Swift hosting her annual Independence Day party?

Taylor Swift has had a busy year, but she can’t sit back and relax at her annual Fourth of July Independence Day party.

Every year, the singer hosts a party at her Rhode Island mansion to celebrate the United States’ independence, but this year it will look a little different as Swift won’t even be in the country.

The “Cruel Summer” singer is busy over the holidays and will be performing in Amsterdam as part of her Eras Tour. Swift will be there on July 4, 5 and 6.

Swift’s last 4th of July party was a year ago and many of her famous friends attended the event. Notably, Selena Gomez and the Haim sisters were present at the event.

Swift shared photos from the party after the holiday was over.

“Belated Happy Independence Day from the independent girls in your neighborhood. See you tonight in Kansas City,” she said at the time.

Swift began hosting Fourth of July commemoration parties in 2013, shortly after purchasing her mansion for $17.75 million.

When Swift was dating actor Tom Hiddleston in 2017, he was privy to one of the parties and later spoke about the event to GQ.

“The truth is, it was the Fourth of July and a holiday. We were playing a game and I slipped and hurt my back. I wanted to protect the graze from the sun and asked, ‘Does anyone have a T-shirt?’ And one of her friends said, ‘I have this.’ And we all laughed about it,” he said.

The Eras Tour will continue throughout the rest of the year and is currently scheduled to end in December of this year.
