Another prominent suspect in Matthew Perry death case emerges

Another celebrity may be involved in the investigation into Matthew Perry’s death.

Perry was found dead in his hot tub on October 28, 2023. The cause of death was given as “acute effects of ketamine.”

His death triggered a wave of mourning and tributes, including from his Friends co-stars.

After Perry’s death, authorities launched a criminal investigation.

In Touch subsequently reported that officials seized a laptop and iPhone from a famous woman’s room at a residential home for alcoholics and took them “for questioning” in connection with Perry’s death.

A lawyer for Brooke Mueller, Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife, later admitted that his client had been questioned in connection with the Matthew Perry case.

Now In Touch reported that another celebrity may be involved in the ongoing criminal investigation into Perry’s death.

Perry wrote about taking ketamine as part of a treatment program for mental health issues, including depression.

However, he had received the last dose of ketamine treatment from his doctor about a week and a half earlier.

According to his autopsy report, the ketamine in his body at the time of his death could not have come from infusion therapy because the body metabolizes ketamine quickly.

The conclusion that Perry had not taken the lethal dose as part of a therapeutic use led authorities to suspect that he had obtained the lethal dose from somewhere else.

This could mean that Perry’s death has a criminal background.

One possible clue is a relationship Perry allegedly developed with another celebrity while both were in rehab at the same time.

A source told In Touch that Perry and the unnamed celebrity tried to help each other obtain drugs.

The source told the outlet, “If the feds had one of her phones — especially the second celebrity’s, since she doesn’t delete her text messages — they would probably find conversations about the drug and ‘How can I get more?’ Like, ‘Oh, come see my doctor if you need more.'”

They added: “This will not look good for the star.”

Following Perry’s death, numerous condolences poured in, including from his Friends fellow actors.

In a joint statement, they wrote: “We are all deeply saddened by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just colleagues. We are family. There is so much to say, but now we take a moment to grieve and process this incredible loss.”
