Live-action horror film Sayuri unveils trailer and visual – News

The team of the live-action film Rensuke Oshikiris horror manga Sayuri released a trailer and a new image on Thursday.

Showgate will release the film in Japanese theaters on August 23rd.

Ryoka Minamid plays the protagonist of the film, Norio, the eldest son of the Kamiki family.

Other actors include:

  • Zen Kajihara as father Akio
  • Fusako Urabe as the mother Masako
  • Kitarō as grandfather Shōzō
  • Kokoro Morita as Norio’s older sister Keiko
  • Ray Inomata as Norio’s younger brother Shun
  • Toshie Negishi as Norio’s grandmother Harue, who suffers from dementia
  • Hana Kondo as Norio’s classmate Nao Sumida

Koji Shiraishi (Sadako vs. Kayako, Impossibility defense) directs the film.

The manga is about a family that moves into their own house. Immediately, mysterious phenomena begin to occur in the family and in the house.

Oshikiri published the manga in Gentosha ComicsComics Magazine from January 2010 to March 2011. The manga has two volumes.

Oshikiri started the Hello Score Girl Manga in Square-Enix‘S Monthly Great Gangan Magazine in 2010 and finished it in September 2018. Square-Enix published the 10th and final volume of the manga in March 2019. Square Enix Manga & Books published the manga in English. Oshikiri started the Hello Score Girl DASH Spin-off in Great Gangan in December 2019. The main manga inspired two anime television series.
