The Boys Season 4, Episode 6: Who is Robert Singer

The Boys has introduced us to some characters that may not be super, but play an important role in the bigger picture. One of those characters is Robert Singer, played by Jim Beaver. He is a character that has appeared on the show since season 1 and was also seen in season 4, episode 6 of The Boys. So who is Robert Singer and what is the plan?

Robert Singer is the elected President of the USA in The Boys

Robert Singer was previously a soldier and had fought in the Vietnam War. We have already seen him in season 2 of The Boys, where he was the US Secretary of Defense. He had a meeting with Stan Edgar about Supes’ involvement in the military. In season 4 of The Boys Robert Singer is a Democratic President-elect of the United States with Congresswoman Victoria Neuman as his Vice President-elect.

He also tried to form an alliance with Annie, aka Starlight, to get rid of Homelander’s supporters, but had to break off this alliance after Starlight beat up Firecracker on live television.

The character of Robert Singer, played by Jim Beaver, also has an interesting purpose. The name Robert Singer is a joke about the character he played in Supernatural and the producer of the show, both named Bobby Singer and Robert Singer.

Will Victoria Neuman kill Robert Singer in ‘The Boys’?

As we saw in The Boys Season 4 Episode 6, Homelander and Victoria Neuman laid out their plan to 25th Amendment Bill that will overthrow the President for all members of the officeIn the episode, we see Homelander and Victoria convince the officials to side with them and, while Robert Singer is president, invoke the 25th Amendment and bring Victoria to power.

For those who don’t know, according to the 25th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, a president can be replaced by the vice president in the event of his death or resignation.

We know that Victoria wants to be president in the show, so there’s a high chance she’ll kill Robert Singer, which would reveal her identity as a Supe. However, the way the show is going, I think she’ll end up killing him. What do you think? Let me know in the comments!
