Travis Kelce lets Taylor Swift’s fans tune into the Eras Tour

Travis Kelce wowed audiences with his cameo appearance on the London leg of Taylor Swift’s world tour and hinted that more impromptu stage appearances could be on the horizon.

The Kansas City Chiefs star is more used to being on the football field, but looked relaxed as he accompanied his girlfriend between songs at a special program at Wembley Stadium. The NFL tight end appeared in a smart suit and top hat as he took part in the performance – he carried his lady love across the stage, sat her down on a sofa and fanned her along with two dancers.

This unexpected reunion of the loved-up couple delighted the British audience and the 90,000 capacity arena erupted in enthusiastic cheers. Now Kelce has hinted that this may not be the first and only time he shares the stage with his love as the Eras Tour continues to rage around the globe.

The younger brother of the family duo sat down with his brother Jason Kelce for the latest episode of their New Heights podcast and shared some insight into the memorable moment in London. He paid tribute to his girlfriend, saying: “Huge thank you to Tay for letting me storm her stage!”

“Who knows, maybe this won’t be the last time you see me out there dancing,” the KC legend continued, in a comment that’s sure to pique Swifties’ curiosity. “You guys just gotta keep buying tickets to the Eras Tour to see if I magically appear under the stage or something.”

Jason, the former Philadelphia Eagles icon, took the hint and couldn’t resist pressing for more details. He asked, “A little teaser, eh? What’s he going to do next? What crazy nonsense is Taylor going to let him get away with this time?” to which Travis replied, “Yeah, I warned them. I said, ‘Look, when I get comfortable, I’m going to go off script and start freestyling. That’s a Travis thing, you wouldn’t understand.'”

During an in-depth conversation with his brother, Travis also revealed how he came to be part of a routine at the Wembley show. He admitted: “It’s not my style at all, I don’t like being on stage.”

“I mentioned it to Tay initially, but she was like, ‘How fun would it be if I rode out on one of the 1989-era motorcycles,’ and she started laughing and said, ‘Would you seriously be willing to do something like that?’ I was like, ‘What? I’d love to do that, are you serious?’ I’ve seen the show enough times, so I might as well get in line here.”

The Chiefs’ favourite confirmed that the performance was done in close collaboration with his girlfriend, adding: “Of course, she found the perfect part of the show for my performance. No bike, in case I collided with someone else or hit one of the dancers. That was the safest option.”
