Footballer Riyad Mahrez marries Taylor Ward for the THIRD time in Italy, surrounded by celebrities and the famous wedding singer

FOOTBALL PLAYER Riyad Mahrez has married model Taylor Ward for the THIRD time in Italy, surrounded by celebrities and a VERY famous wedding singer.

The couple got engaged in 2021 when the smitten sportsman got down on one knee in Mykonos, Greece.

Riyad and Taylor – the daughter of Real Housewives of Cheshire star Dawn Ward – married in a Muslim ceremony in January 2022.

In September last year, they tied the knot for a second time in a beautiful wedding in London.

Now they have flown to Italy for a third ceremony.

The couple said “I do” at Villa Balbiano, a luxury villa on Lake Como.

The luxurious property features an outdoor pool, a private pier and a boathouse.

They had an outdoor ceremony followed by a party with guests.

Taylor looked stunning in a long-sleeved white dress.

Her father, football player Ashley, led her to the altar surrounded by hundreds of white roses to the sound of Callum Scott’s “You Are The Reason”.

Singer Leona Lewis, who became famous through “The X Factor” in 2006, performed after the wedding.

Riyad and Taylor had been together since 2020 and secretly married a year later.

A source said at the time: “Riyad and Taylor are now legally married under Islamic law following their ceremony late last year.

“It was important for them as a couple to follow the traditions of their religion.

“The ceremony was short but beautiful and was the prelude to their second wedding, which will be the main event. Taylor and Riyad are so excited and very much in love.”

They dressed all in white for a Muslim ceremony known as a nikah – in which they signed a contract making it a legal marriage under Islamic law.

Riyad and Taylor had a secret ceremony last year at the London hotel in the heart of the West End.

The footballer proposed to her in 2021 with a £400,000 ring that he had specially made.

A source said at the time: “Taylor was not expecting this at all and was absolutely overjoyed.

“She and Riyad are a fantastic couple and they are so in love with each other.

“Riyad chose the ring himself and had it specially made.

“Afterwards there was a huge celebration with lots of champagne.”

Riyad was previously in a relationship with Rita Johal.

They have two daughters together.

Riyad and Taylor welcomed their first child in 2022.
