Ariana Grande explains bizarre ‘voice change’ clip after it went viral

Depending on the level of tiredness and many other factors, the pitch and sound of our voice can change from time to time.

However, it is rare for a person’s voice to change dramatically in the middle of a sentence.

An interview clip showing Ariana Grande doing this has gone viral. Many fans of the pop superstar are scratching their heads and wondering how a person’s voice can change so dramatically.

In the clip, which was part of an interview on the Podcrushed podcast with actor Penn Badgley, Grande talks about recording new music and begins the sentence in a normal tone.

But in the middle of her answer, she switches to a higher voice that almost sounds like someone else is speaking.

Now Grande has given an explanation for the bizarre clip: She said that on the one hand she wanted to protect her voice, but on the other hand she had always done it that way.

“Habit (of speaking like this for two years) and also vocal health,” she replied in a comment on the video that went viral on TikTok. “🍵 I intentionally change my vocal pitch (high/low) often depending on how much I sing 😭 I’ve always done it this way, BYE.”

Their seventh album “Eternal Sunshine” was released in March.
