The filming location was Wanaque, New Jersey, in the north of the state, a small mountain town surrounded by trees.

On January 11, police received a call about a bright light in the sky.

The moving light was then seen by the then mayor of Wanaque and many other residents.

Then it disappeared out of nowhere.

A few days later, the same luminous object appeared in the sky near the Ramapo Mountains and was again observed by the city’s residents.

The object appeared several more times throughout the year. Each time it hovered low in the sky, emitting a faint glow, and then seemed to disappear, never to be seen again.
