Travis Kelce reveals about his cameo appearance on Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour: It was my idea

Travis Kelce has spoken about his surprise cameo on stage during Taylor Swift’s recent London Eras Tour stop, revealing it was his idea

In the latest episode and season two finale of the podcast “New Heights,” which he and his brother Jason Kelce co-host, Travis said, “I first mentioned it to Tay. I was like, ‘How fun would it be if I just went and rode off in the 1989 era on one of the bikes?'”

Then he remembered Swift asking him, “Would you seriously be willing to do something like that?” He agreed, adding, “I’ve seen the show enough times. She might as well have me work here. And actually, she found the perfect part of the show for me.”

The moment Travis appeared happened during Swift’s song “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” from her new album The “Tortured Poets” sectionwas released in April. Jason said it was his “favorite song” by Swift.

During this part of the show, Swift dies and men in suits and top hats come to revive her. Travis acted as one of these men and at one point held her in his arms and shook her. He then laid her on a red couch where she was eventually revived, quickly changed her clothes and continued with the show.

“And it’s such a fun, playful part of the show and it was the perfect place or time for me to go there and just be an actor and have a little fun,” Travis told listeners.

Although Travis has participated in many of Swift’s previous Eras tour shows, this was the tight end’s first appearance on stage.

The two almost met for the first time at a show in July 2023 to which Travis’ teammate Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs invited him, according to PeopleSwift and Travis have been together since September 2023.
